Ravi Bhattarai

Academically, I am an IT graduate completed M.Sc.(IT) in 2005. I have been focusing in free software technologies and GNU/Linux systems since then with regular activities under the banner : Swatantra Software Samaj.

As I believe in regular learning, I did a foundation course in NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) in business from Sue Spencer Learning, UK and Basic & Advanced Level Professional Counseling Training from St. Xavier's College, Department of Guidance and Counseling, Maitighar.

I am also involved in Quality Management System with International Training on Lead Auditor of ISO 9001:2000, ETDP (Education Technology Development Program) and Quality Circle in academia. Yellow belt on Six Sigma and Lean Management by Asia Pacific Quality Organization. I am also working as Master trainer on implementation of SQC (Students' Quality Circle).

As part of freelancing, I have facilitated residential planning workshops for colleges. My major contribution was as a resource person on formulating long term and short term strategies to address the strength and the weaknesses that came through SWOT analysis. I have also developed special tool for teachers performance monitoring and several others when in need.

Currently, Vice President (Education) at Kathmandu Toastmasters Club.
